1. On your computer, click the Start menu .
2. Click Settings Apps Default Apps.
3. Under "Set defaults for applications," enter Chromeinto the search box click Google Chrome.
4. At the top, next to "Make Google Chrome your default browser," click Set default.
   • To make sure the change applied to the correct file types, review the list below the "Set default" button.
5. To exit, close the settings window.

To easily open Chrome later, add a shortcut to your taskbar:

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the bottom, in the Windows taskbar, right-clickChrome.
3. Click Pin to taskbar.
