What are Akashic Ruins?
Like many gacha games, Akashic ruins serve as MLA’s puzzle map feature. There are a total of 32 Akashic Ruins (for now), each with different stages and difficulties.
Unlike other types of maps, Your team’s health won’t heal to full after the battle, you have to make it through the entire map with only the healing opportunities the map provides.
With that said, after every kill you will be able to choose between 3 blessings that offer various types of boosts to your power and team:
Some of these are very powerful, Such as the 40% crit damage increase. Depending on the type of team you are running, You will also come into various hero-specific or type-specific buffs.
Do you need to do them right away when they unlock?
You might not find the time to do them as soon as you unlocked them from your campaign. If that is the case, You need not worry.
Akashic ruins have no time limit and will remain untouched until you have time to do them. With that said, You may wish to do them as soon as possible rather than hoard them for later.
While you can only get the reward once, Those rewards are massive and can propel you further into the game faster.
Without doing them, You may find yourself at a stalemate, as you hit a wall in the tower, campaign, and awakening resources. This lack of growth could be prohibitive in future event progress as well, hindering future reward gains.
Do these map walkthroughs make it easier?
Yes! Most of the puzzles are very simple in nature, But energy management can be a bit of a pain to deal with.
It’s also super important to use them on akashic ruin levels that allow you to choose certain free heroes to add to your team and sacrifice them later to unlock part of the map.
Picking even 1 wrong colored hero could mean you have to restart the entire map all over again from the beginning because you can no longer progress without getting the correct corresponding hero.
These maps tell you exactly which monsters to kill in what order to always have enough energy to finish the map.
They also tell you which heroes to pick for sacrificing so you don’t need to get frustrated restarting the map with trial and error, as someone has already done that for you!
